These terms cover the Ownsteps Chrome extension and the Pro license sold for it. Ownsteps is made by ingijy, an independent developer.
License
- The free version may be used by anyone, for personal or work purposes.
- A Pro license is for one person and may be activated on up to three of that person’s browsers.
- Pro is a one-time purchase for the current major version (1.x), including its updates.
Payments
Orders are processed by Creem, our merchant of record, which handles payment, invoicing and applicable sales tax or VAT.
Your content
Guides you create are yours. Ownsteps stores them locally and claims no rights over them. You are responsible for having permission to record and share the screens you capture.
No warranty
Ownsteps is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable, but cannot guarantee it works on every website or that screenshots are captured for every click. Keep exports of guides you rely on.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Ownsteps is limited to the amount you paid for it.
